- The Zencus Mono-Transmitter design integrates precision sensors, 434MHz radio transmitter and battery in a single compact unit.
- The design is light but robust and can screw directly into existing connections with no support structure, cables or conduit required.
- Intrinsically safe: Zone 0 per ATEX EEx ia 1G IIC T4.
- The 434 MHz radio frequency offers distinct operational advantages compared with higher frequencies (e.g. 2.4 GHz), particularly in congested plant areas where line of sight transmission is not possible. The lower frequency 434 MHz signals reflect off equipment and pipe-work and effectively creating a passive network with multiple transmission paths. The lower frequency signals also penetrate walls and structures to reliably deliver signals in congested areas or buildings.
- The Mono-Transmitter can transmit up to 200m or up to 3km with Repeaters.
- Repeaters. The Zencus Mono Transmitter Repeater is an economical low power device that can be deployed in strategic locations to extend the range of Mono Transmitters. The 434 MHz Repeater can be deployed in congested plant areas to extend the range of Mono Transmitters and form a Mesh Network.
- With typical transmission frequencies between 10 and 60 seconds the Mono-Transmitter has a battery life of between 2 and 10 years, respectively.
- The Zencus Mono-Transmitter forms part of the Zencus Wireless Network, with up to 200 Mono-Transmitters feeding into a single Zencus Field Transceiver or Gateway for onward data transmission. Data delivery is via the Zencus Data Visualization Suite or directly into the clients existing SCADA system.
