The project objective was to;

  • Transmit real-time data from two unmanned offshore platforms to GOSP-5 using VSAT communication.
  • Equipment to be monitored included; Schlumberger and Roxar Multiphase Flow Meters and Halliburton/Well Dynamics Downhole Gauge.
  • Data sampling and transmission every 30 seconds.
  • Functionality included bi-direction communication to control and initiate change of well profile in the Multiphase Meters.
  • Data delivery via Saudi Aramco VSAT terminal to end users in compliance with Aramco Telecommunications and IT standards. Ref. Communication Schematic.
  • Real-time Data Visualization and Remote Control via Zencus Web-based software.
